Daniel Reyes
Daniel built the fourteen-carrier panel — and keeps every carrier on it honest by measuring how they quote, pay, and renew.
Background.
Daniel Reyes ran product for an auto carrier’s direct channel before co-founding Lanewise, which means he has sat on the other side of the table: he knows exactly which levers carriers pull when they want to grow in a state, and which corners get cut when they want to leave one quietly.
At Lanewise he owns the carrier panel. Every carrier is scored quarterly on quote competitiveness, claims satisfaction, and renewal behavior — the scorecard that decides who stays on the panel is the same one published on our carriers page. Two carriers have been dropped since 2016. Both times, clients were re-shopped before the news went public.
Daniel leads our bilingual advising practice — nearly a fifth of Lanewise clients work with us in Spanish.

Hit by an uninsured driver — the UM limits we’d insisted on paid for surgery and lost wages
The client had almost waived UM to save $9 a month. The at-fault driver carried nothing at all.

Post-DUI SR-22 filing — placed in a non-standard market instead of a punitive standard one
Two carriers on the panel actually want this risk. The one his old agency quoted does not.
